May 15, 2008 | With over 5 Million French albums sold worldwide, Francophone artist Garou, released his first English CD, 'Piece Of My Soul', on May 6th, 2008 and today bursts onto the Nielsen SoundScan chart at #2, between Madonna and Neil Diamond! To top it off, 'Piece Of My Soul' has also been certified GOLD in Canada!

Garou's first English single "Stand Up", written by Matchbox Twenty leader Rob Thomas, continues to gain momentum at radio, and moves to # 3 on the Top 100 BDS Anglophone chart in Quebec and #19 on the National AC audience chart (BDS).
